Data methodology

What changed from the old dashboard

This site is derived directly from chain data (via YACI) and corrects several issues in the previous dashboard. These definitions explain why numbers may differ.

Clearer metric definitions

  • Transactions now counts only successful transactions — 35,984 of 37,962 committed (1,978 errored but still paid fees).
  • "Wallets" is now "Addresses Seen" — on-chain participants in message bodies, including IBC counterparties; not an account count.
  • Token count comes from bank supply (may be +1 vs the old metadata count — upoa).
  • Groups / DAOs now reads the chain's group module directly (corrects an undercount).
  • Locked (vesting) MFX is removed — the chain has no vesting accounts.

Burn rates

Burn rates offer per-day, per-week, and per-month units on both trailing and all-time charts. Trailing rates measure burns in that window and return to zero after a quiet window. All-time rates average since launch. A rate month is 30.44 days.

MFX supply & FDV history

MFX supply / FDV history includes the MANY predecessor network, reconstructed from raw mint/burn events and converted at 1 MANY MFX to 10 Manifest MFX. It switches to Manifest at the first valid post-redenomination supply point; later MANY issuance is not added. The transient 1.41 trillion MFX staging balance remains available for reconciliation but is not plotted.

Nominal valuations

MFX Nominal FDV / Market Cap use the documented PWR peg policy; they are not independently observed market prices. FDV uses the total supply in effect at each instant (not maximum supply), while market cap uses circulating supply.

Project-owner-supplied pre-contract conversion checkpoints are provenance-tracked; the current PWR-per-MFX rate and later changes come from the conversion contract at the published snapshot.
